Telecommunications Pole Fielding Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Outside Plant Technician - Pole Fielder to perform field surveys, collect data, and support the design of telecommunications networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of utility poles, cable routes, and the standards for aerial and underground plant construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed field surveys to assess utility pole conditions, pole attachments, and cable routes.
• Measure, photograph, and document pole data, including heights, clearances, and attachments.
• Collaborate with design teams to develop efficient and cost-effective plans for network deployment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (NESC, NEC) and local regulations for pole attachments and construction.
