The Opportunity

Cornell University is searching for its next Head Coach to lead one of the Ivy League's most exciting varsity sailing programs - and to help shape what comes next.

Cornell Women's Sailing has finished in the top 5 at the ICSA Women's Fleet Race National Championships in each of the last two years, claimed its first-ever national singlehanded title in 2025, and competed in 38 regattas this past season across every format the sport offers. The alumni base is organized, engaged, and actively investing in the program's future and the right head coach will find genuine partners in building something lasting.

What You Will Do

You will coach, recruit, and build on the shores of beautiful Cayuga Lake, from one of the finest sailing facilities in the Northeast - with an extensive fleet in excellent condition, a modern boathouse, and open water minutes from central campus. Key responsibilities include:
