Job Description

Performs a variety of repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on buildings and facilities, as well as fixtures and equipment. Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts using hand and power tools, and reassembles equipment. Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems and determines how to correct them, reviewing blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as needed. Inspects transmissions, motors, and belts; checks fluid levels; replaces filters; or performs other maintenance actions, following checklists. Inspects, operates, and tests machinery and equipment to diagnose machine failures.Prepares activity and failure reports, including root cause analysis, actions taken, and proposed improvements based on the analysis previously performed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering
