Job Description

Role Purpose

To lead the Technology Finance team within Vodafone Ghana, providing financial and commercial insight and value-add analysis to the Technology and IT Departments and leading on bottom-line enhancing deals.

The Technology Finance function works as a business partner to both the Vodafone Ghana Technology and IT teams. The role is in a matrix structure with a solid-line reporting into the Finance organisation under the CFO, and a dotted line into both the CTO and CIO


Key Accountabilities

Impact on the business

  • Run financial analysis on strategic decisions, e.g. site rollout, co-location

  • Determine bottom-line impact of proposals

  • Use investment appraisal skills in driving decisions (NPV, payback, IRR etc)

    • Leadership and teamwork

  • Be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all financial matters affecting the customer business units.
