Technologist, Polysomnography Advanced (36hr, Nights)

Job Summary:

Perform sleep studies, monitoring patients during all stages of sleep; trial therapeutic interventions and evaluate their effectiveness with all studies conducted at KPs Sleep Center.

Essential Responsibilities:



+ Measure and observe sleep and EEG dysfunctions by utilizing various monitors simultaneously in a safe and effective manner. This requires use of computerized sleep lab system.


+ Utilizing protocols developed by Sleep Medical Directors and PSGTs, provide therapeutic interventions for observed sleep dysfunction, measure and evaluate the results of interventions and make necessary adjustments resulting in a prescription for durable medical equipment.


+ Take a detailed sleep history from the patient and screen patients for appropriateness of testing. Participate in outpatient monthly sleep study reviews.


+ Educate patients to testing and therapeutic procedures. Maintain an effective rapport...
