Job Description
Under the authority of the Director of Operations, the Production Mechanical Engineering Technician acts as the link between the Research and Development team and the production floor. Their central role is to transform design drawings from R&D into complete, precise, and usable manufacturing documentation for production and assembly teams.
The position also involves CAM programming for automated production equipment (laser and plasma cutting, CNC press brakes, robotic welding cells) and overseeing the design and manufacturing of production jigs, whether manual or robotic. The technician ensures strict management of technical drawings, maintains bills of materials, and provides technical support to production managers.
