Technician(C/TY-AMEC/TECH/06/26-AP1)

Major Duties

: (a) To assist in workshops / laboratories equipment installation / maintenance, and training session preparation; (b) To assist the lecturers during laboratory / practical classes; (c) To assist in trouble shooting, acquisition and installation of all equipment, hardware and software; (d) To assist in the implementation of safety measures in laboratories and maintaining the tidiness of the workshops / laboratories; (e) To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores and equipment; and (f) To provide technical support for teaching activities, as well as special projects, events and exhibitions. Requirements: (a) A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or other relevant disciplines; (b) At least 2 years of relevant experience in Aircraft Maintenance / Marine Engineering or related fields; (c) Basic knowledge of IT equipment (...
