Technician, Pit Dewatering

Job Overview

We are looking for a Technician, Pit Dewatering to join our Mount Milligan Mine team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Dewatering and Tailings, the Technician, Pit Dewatering is responsible for the safe and proficient operation of one or more pieces of CAT mobile equipment in a mining environment and for maintaining and supporting pit dewatering systems to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain operational integrity of all dewatering systems.
• Support HDPE pipe fusing and splicing.
• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and excavators.
• Assist with pipeline relocation, pump setup, and refueling.
• Maintain clean and safe work environments.
• Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement efforts.
• Participate in training and mentoring initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department.
