Technician II

Summary

The Maintenance Technician (Technician II) supports HID Global by installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production equipment to meet safety, preventive maintenance and productivity objectives. The role reports to the Maintenance Engineer and works closely with Engineering, QA, and Production teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, pneumatic and electronic components of production equipment.
• Respond immediately to machine breakdowns and perform root cause analysis.
• Set up, convert and configure machines according to product/process requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop new models or product lines.
• Support QA and Production to achieve One‑Time Delivery and control machine yield.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance, record downtime, and update CMMS and ISO documents.
