Under general supervision performs skilled mechanical or analytical duties on various projects. May supervise subordinate employees.

**Major/Essential Functions:**

+ Operates & services all types of grounds maintenance equipment related to the irrigations systems.
+ Install and service irrigation controllers throughout campus. This is an essential personnel position. You will need to be available for an call duty for emergency maintenance or to assist in campus preparation due to inclement weather or hazardous weather conditions.
+ Observe entire grounds and identify and document all problems and/or hazards.
+ Maintains all aspects of the grounds irrigation systems, including pumps, wells, backflow prevention devices, valves, controllers, etc....
