Technician

**Description:**



**Duties and responsibilities related to the Technician role:**



+ Perform routine **Preventive Maintenance (PPM)** on guest rooms and public areas, including checking HVAC filters, lighting, and plumbing fixtures.

+ Respond immediately to **guest complaints** regarding room maintenance (e.g., AC not cooling, clogged drains, faulty lights) to ensure guest comfort.

+ Carry out general repairs across multiple trades, including basic electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and painting/polishing.

+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, such as fan coil units, pumps, and kitchen appliances.

+ Conduct daily rounds to inspect plant rooms, read utility meters, and monitor critical systems like boilers and chillers.

+ Maintain accurate records of all work performed, spare parts used, and time spent on tasks using the hotel's work order system.
