Technical Writer – Mechanical

Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Technical Writer – Mechanical for their Foster City, CA location. Responsibilities:


+ The technical writer will create and update the technical documentation associated with the following:

+ Vehicle operations manuals and mission readiness documentation

+ Vehicle-level inspection, maintenance, and repair remove/replace procedures

+ Software programming and post-repair bring-up

+ Fleet upgrade and rework procedures

+ Technical service bulletins

+ Inspection and maintenance procedures

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field.

+ 4–8 years of relevant experience in technical writing, documentation, or related fields.

+ Proficiency in documentation tools and content management systems (e.g., Oxygen, Dozuki, Adobe, Jira).
