Technical Supervisor

LabCorp is seeking a Lab Supervisor to join our team at the Halsey Lab in Portland, OR.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise the day to day operations of the lab
• Act as a technical resource for high volume areas including Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis
• Provide support and guidance on specialized testing such as Electrophoresis, CT/NG, Viral Load, Flow Cytometry, and Toxicology
• Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel of the department
• Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate assay coverage
• Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffed
• Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary
