We at Coforge are hiring AS400 Admin, Please find below JD:-
Minimum 6 years of experience in i Series, AS400 System Administration with work management, user management, journal management and o performance management.
Proven experience in IBM, OS/400, V7 R4 and above and Hardware Power 9, 10 systems.
Expertise in applying PTF and tools upgrade for on AS400.
Demonstrable skills in i BMi native job scheduler, Advanced Job Scheduler, i Series Navigator, IBMi Access Client Solution.
Experience in Backup and Recovery Media Services (BRMS).
Manage the Backups, Scheduling, Modification.
Identify the actions required to handle error messages and system reference codes, SAL PAL HMC, QSYSOPR.
Handling hardware related issues (Tape Library, Hardware management console, disk failure etc) backup issues, distribution queue issues.
Maintenance activity in the AS400 servers to replace any H/W or upgrade activity.
Support Disaster Recovery planning and tests as scheduled...
