Technical Customer Service Lab Chemist

Job Description

W.R Grace is seeking a Technical Customer Service Lab Chemist role to handle all the laboratory activities that provide technical support to both external and internal customers including supporting TCS Managers in PRISM & AD projects for Coatings, Plastics and Consumers applications. The position operates within Material Technologies Business and the location is at our manufacturing Plant in Kuantan, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the laboratory is operated in conformance with local safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain a safe and orderly lab with strict adherence to safety protocols, proper use of PPE, good housekeeping, proper chemical labelling and storage.
• Managing and upkeeping of the essential records such as chemical inventories, chemical waste disposal, MSDS, HIRA, lab asset management, test methods and working instructions.
