Company Description
MkulimaScore is an early-stage agri-fintech company building AI-driven credit intelligence for smallholder farmers in Kenya. We use alternative data—farm-level, behavioral, and geospatial—to enable lenders to make explainable, regulator-ready credit decisions in underserved agricultural markets.

We are currently piloting our MVP and are in active discussions with financial institutions and ecosystem partners. This is a venture-scale problem with real-world constraints, not a theoretical exercise.

Role Description

The Technical Cofounder will own the technical vision and architecture of MkulimaScore, working alongside the founding team to build, iterate, and scale the platform from MVP to production. Responsibilities include designing and leading the data and ML architecture, building scalable backend systems, and shaping long-term technical strategy.
