Job Description Summary

The Technical Field Advisor (Mechanical Balance of Plant/ Piping) is the on-site technical specialist supporting the installation and commissioning of hydroelectric power projects. This role ensures that the piping work are executed in accordance with the design, technical standards, quality requirements, and health and safety regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure EHS compliance, evaluate tasks to assess hazards posing risks to workers, and confirm controls are in place to prevent injuries and unplanned events.
• Stop work if risks are not sufficiently mitigated.
• Promote and uphold a strong safety culture; ensure all technical work complies with EHS requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments, method statements, and job safety analyses for high-risk activities such as lifts, hot work, working at heights, energized work, and piping system testing.
