Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and foster a culture of safety and health for all employees in the Mine Engineering Department.
• Lead all engineering functions and ensure service and operating guidelines are followed.
• Create, design, and develop best practices regarding mining engineering processes, procedures, and practices.
• Provide strategic leadership for the company’s SHEMS system as it applies to the Mine Engineering Department.
• Maintain and update ore reserves.
• Maintain ventilation and rock‑mechanic programs.
• Manage activities related to programs, systems, and procedures in mine design.
