Team Leader – Department of Corrections & Ministry of Justice

Reporting to the Site Manager, the successful candidate will lead a multi‑trade maintenance team at the Northland Region Corrections Facility, ensuring high‑quality, timely work and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team through guidance and example.
• Assist with hands‑on site deliverables, actively participating in tasks as required.
• Promote collaborative customer relationships and value‑adding activities.
• Provide solid technical solutions across electrical, air‑conditioning, mechanical, building and facilities assets.
• Allocate work to appropriate trade resources.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant trades background and qualifications: electrical, building, plumbing, HVAC.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a trade environment.
