About the role
The Team Leader Fire and Biodiversity leads a small field team delivering bushfire mitigation and biodiversity works across Hobart's natural areas. The role focuses on day-to-day coordination of field activities, safe work practices and supporting program delivery.
Key responsibilities:
lead and supervise field staff, contractors and volunteers.
deliver bushfire mitigation, fuel reduction and biodiversity field programs.
support planning and coordination of works and projects.
monitor progress of works, timelines and budgets.
arrange and manage equipment, materials and resources.
maintain records and contribute to reporting and program improvements.
This role may require occasional work outside normal hours, including weekends.
