Teaching Assistants / HLTA

CER is working with a partner school to provide one‑to‑one Teaching Assistants for September 2026, based in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The school is a SEMH setting for children who have not engaged in mainstream education and who are in need of extra help and expertise to achieve.

Experience within SEND/SEMH would be preferred, but any experience within school or residential settings would be advantageous. You will have a Teaching Assistant qualification or similar, or at least 1 year’s experience within this field working with children.

Requirements

• School or care experience working with children
• Be able to commit to long‑term work
• Be able to drive or live in the local area
• Be able to start immediately or within a week
• Happy to work on a temporary basis
