Teaching Assistant (with ELSA provision)

We would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within our Trust at Great Bookham School who would also take an interest in the ELSA provision. The role is to support teaching and learning in the classroom and/or pre-school alongside the teacher in a variety of different roles. The position requires good interpersonal skills and a strong desire to develop and support children in all areas of school.

Candidate Requirements

• Have a passion for making a difference to the life chances of individuals.
• Have high expectations for all and a great team spirit.
• Be willing to get involved with all aspects of school life, which may include lunchtime support.
• Have experience delivering pastoral and/or targeted curriculum interventions.
• Would like school experience prior to pursuing a career in teaching or working with children.
• Hold a Level 3 EYFS qualification.
