Teaching Assistant (MidTA) – Middlesbrough, England

A large Multi-Academy Trust in Middlesbrough is looking for 3 Learning Support Assistants (LSA) / Teaching Assistants (TA) to support students in their schools. The role is a mixture of 1:1 and small groups, working with students with SEN needs across their primary schools. The role starts in September 2026 and will run until the Christmas break in the first instance, with potential to offer permanent positions depending on staff suitability.

Essential requirements:

• Experience working with children or young adults within the SEN or care sector.
• Experience of group management of school-aged children.
• Shown commitment to learning and development of pupils.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff and students.
