1:1 Teaching Assistant – Swanage

Are you passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Swanage is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 2 pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) from September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and encourage engagement.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to implement personalised support plans.
• Monitor progress, celebrate achievements, and contribute to pupil reviews and assessments.
• Help maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment.
