Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a flexible and committed Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEMH secondary school in the DE11 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is adaptable, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

This role includes both classroom support and some catering responsibilities, making it varied and rewarding.

As this is an SEMH setting, the successful candidate must be confident working with challenging behaviour and supporting pupils who may struggle to engage in education.

Please note: Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, as home visits may be required for students who are not attending school.

Working Hours

Monday - Wednesday: 8:10am - 3:50pm

Thursday: 8:10am - 4:20pm

Friday: 8:10am - 3:40pm
