Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit 3 dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary school in the Ely area of Cardiff from September.

These are full-time, long-term opportunities supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, making a real difference to children who require additional behavioural and emotional support throughout the school day.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Behaviour Mentors, Youth Workers, Support Workers, or anyone with a passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.

The Role

Full-time position (Monday-Friday, term time only)

Working on a 1:1 basis with pupils across the primary age range

Supporting children with behavioural, social and emotional needs

Using positive behaviour strategies to help pupils engage in learning

Building strong, consistent relationships with pupils, staff and families
