Job Description
Recruiting for a resilient and proactive Teaching Assistant to work with students across Year 7 - 11 at a Romford Secondary School. This is a mainstream role, with a particular focus on providing additional support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) both in and out of the classroom.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and SENCO, to help the students reach their academic, social and emotional potential.
Monday, 8.30am - 4.10pm and Tuesday to Friday 8.30am - 3.10pm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to SEN students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Assist with the delivery of the secondary curriculum.
* Support the students in managing their social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
* Reinforce class teaching, help explain tasks, and encourage engagement
