Rossendale School is recruiting a versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant to support across all key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher, assisting pupils with their work and supporting pupil behaviour while establishing positive relationships and acting as a role model.

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with their work and classroom activities.
• Support pupil behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Ensure pupils’ special educational needs are addressed in line with the school's philosophy and policies.
• Meet the individual needs of students to help them achieve their academic potential.
• Collaborate with staff to support pupils across key stages 2 to 5.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a classroom environment with children aged 7–18 years.
• Full UK driving licence.
