Teaching Assistant – SEND

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our highly dedicated SEND team. Under the direction of the SENCO and teaching staff, duties will include in‑class support for SEND pupils to give them every opportunity to make expected progress, preparing individualized and/or differentiating teaching resources for use in class.

The role involves working 30 hours per week, term time plus 1 week (39 working weeks per year).

What we are looking for

We are looking for an individual who has a very flexible and enthusiastic approach to suit the varying and sometimes complex needs of our pupils and who would be prepared to undertake any associated tasks as required. You will be a confident communicator as you will need to liaise with parents and carers in a manner that will support our SEND pupils in their learning.
