Salary Grade D Points 06 to 08 (£25,989 to £26,824 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro‑rata. The minimum actual pro‑rata salary per annum for this job starts at £18,204.86.

Position: Teaching Assistant Level 2 – part‑time, permanent basis, starting September 2026.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2 you will work under the instruction and guidance of teaching or senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes that enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
