Qualifications Required: GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Salary: £22,000 minimum per annum, actual.

We are seeking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 2. A good awareness and experience of the KS2 Curriculum would be advantageous.

About the Candidate

The candidate should have:

• Experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age
• Numeracy/literacy skills (at a level equivalent to NQF Level 2)
• Completion of the Teaching Assistant Induction Programme
• Ability to relate well to children and adults
• Ability to work as part of a team
• An understanding of the role of the Teaching Assistant and other professionals working in the classroom
