Teaching Assistant (KS2)

Fancy making a real difference during those all-important Key Stage 2 years? You might just be the person we’re looking for.

We’re on the lookout for Teaching Assistants to support pupils across KS2 classes at a primary school in BS39. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll help children build confidence, master core skills and feel proud of their progress, whether that’s one‑to‑one, in small groups, or as part of the wider classroom.

You’ll be working in mainstream KS2 settings, supporting class teachers with lessons in literacy, numeracy and the wider curriculum, and helping pupils stay focused, motivated and ready to learn.

Experience supporting children with SEN is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker. What really matters is your energy, empathy and enthusiasm. If you’ve worked in youth work, sports coaching, tutoring or you’re studying psychology or education, your skills will transfer brilliantly into this role.
