Teaching Assistant

EYFS Teaching Assistant – Glossop is a full-time role Monday to Friday with GlossopTradewind Recruitment.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, has experience supporting children in an Early Years setting, and is passionate about helping young learners develop and thrive.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
• Assist with phonics, play‑based learning and classroom activities
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider school staff

Requirements

• Previous EYFS experience
• Positive and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
