About This Role

Hayeswood First School is looking for a Teaching Assistant G5 to join our fantastic team. This position is a part‑time, term‑time role at 15 hours per week during 39 weeks per year. Working pattern will be agreed in advance.

The role is offered on a temporary, fixed‑term basis until 22 July 2026 (originally announced until 31 August 2026) and may be subject to change according to business needs. Pay will be £8,921 – £9,063 per annum, subject to the Grade 5 pay award.

The successful candidate will support the SEND needs of pupils, working on a 1:1 basis and in groups with students who have disability, learning difficulties, or behavioural challenges. Key responsibilities will include providing individual support, assisting with classroom management and contributing to a positive learning environment.
