Teaching Assistant – Early Years & KS1 (15 hours permanent + up to 11 hours temporary, part‑time, permanent/temporary).

Grade 5 SCP6, PCD5 (£25,989 per annum, pro‑rate, term time plus 1 week INSET & holiday entitlement).

Responsibilities

• Support the Early Years & Key Stage 1 teaching staff, primarily working with Nursery & Reception pupils aged 3‑7, including those with additional needs.
• Promote learning and maintain a calm, positive classroom environment, managing pupils’ behaviour effectively.
• Ensure the wellbeing and progress of all pupils, working as part of a strong team under the direction of early years and Key Stage 1 staff.
• Where possible, combine with After School Club lead or assistant roles (2.5 hours per week each) to meet scheduling needs.
