The job itself

Keldmarsh Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our team. We are looking for an experienced person to facilitate learning opportunities primarily for children in the Early Year Foundation Stage, supporting them to meet their Early Learning Goals and expectations by providing targeted support particularly in the core areas of early reading, writing and maths. The right person will have evidence of supporting children to make good progress, be someone who is able to work closely with teaching staff to deliver the right support and lead small groups of children independently. This role also includes midday supervision across lunchtimes.
