About the role

Teaching Assistant role at Stourfield Junior School. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and inspiring teaching assistants who are passionate about education and able to make a positive contribution to our children’s learning.

• Start date: September 2026 (subject to pre‑start checks)
• Contract: Fixed term until July 2027
• Working hours: 31.25 hours per week – 8.40am‑3.25pm, Monday to Friday
• Weeks per year: School term‑time, Trust Training Days and INSET days
• Grade: 5
• Salary range (per annum): £25,583 to £25,989 (FTE); £18,587 to £18,882 (pro rata)
• Location: Stourfield Junior School
• Reports to: Headteacher / SENDCo

Responsibilities

• Primarily work with individual children and/or small groups to improve their learning
• Supervise children during lunch time and play time
