Summary

The Coppice School is a thriving school in South Ribble between Leyland and Preston. We have 64 pupils on roll aged between 2-19 years with severe and complex learning difficulties. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our happy and dedicated staff team.

Terms & Conditions

Salary: £25,949 pro rata, full‑time equivalent. Hours: 29 hours a week, part‑time, term time only. Closing date: 30 June 2026. Location: The Coppice School, Ash Grove, Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire, PR5 6GY.

Qualifications

• Relevant Child Care Qualification or Equivalent
• Maths and English Level 2 or Equivalent

Essential Experience

• Ability to relate well to children
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to organise classroom resources
