Teacher of Maths - Halifax

About the Role:

Justteachers is recruiting a full-time Maths Teacher to work in a high-achieving secondary school in Halifax for an ASAP start. This is a long-term supply position in a school that values problem-solving and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Mark and assess students’ work, providing timely feedback in line with school policy.
• Support students with exam preparation and intervention.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies.
• Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Ability to provide two education-based references.
