I want to learn French, but am a total beginner.
I now seem to spend a fair amount of time in France and around French speakers and find it increasingly embarrassing that I can't join in the conversations!
Hoping that you might be able to help me with the basics.
I studied German for GCSE and Latin for a year at university, so I have previously understood the mechanics of language, but any practical uses happened a long time ago.
