Teacher Assistant - Head Start Durant

**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** You will assist the classroom teacher with the implementation of the educational program. This position must maintain a working relationship with other staff members, parents, and children. You will report to education leadership.
Full Time | Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM | $16.35/hr
**Primary Tasks:**
1. You will monitor the safety and behavior of children in classroom, on the bus, and while on the playground.
2. Help set up the environment (indoor/outdoor) for the activities of the day.
3. Help prepare and teach Weekly Planning Form based on children's individual developmental needs
4. Observe and record behaviors of children to assist the teacher in the identification of each child's strengths and growth areas.
5. You will attend parent meetings, home visits, parent/teacher conferences.
6. Assist children during meals.
7. Be a willing participant in Tribal functions when needed
