Key Responsibilities

• Teaching, Learning and Curriculum
  • Deliver a broad and balanced primary curriculum including:
    • English (phonics, reading and writing)
    • Mathematics
    • Science
    • Humanities
    • Computing
    • PSHE
  • Create a calm, structured and engaging learning environment.
  • Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Embed communication, social interaction and independence skills throughout the school day.
  • Support the development of life skills, emotional literacy and positive relationships.
• Assessment and Progress
  • Monitor and assess academic, social‑emotional and developmental progress.
  • Use assessment data to identify barriers to learning and inform next steps.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress, behaviour and achievement.
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews and annual review meetings.
