Teacher Aide - Elementary (2)

The Addison Central School District is seeking a Teacher Aide (2 positions available) for the Tuscarora Elementary School. The work involves responsibility for assisting teachers in the performance of their duties by performing a wide variety of non-professional tasks associated with the teaching process. The work is carried out in accordance with strictly defined procedures as assigned and directed by a certified teacher and involves relieving a teacher of that part of their duties, which while related to the teaching process, can be performed by non-certified personnel. Work is performed under the direct supervision of a certified teacher, but with some leeway allowed the incumbent for the exercise of independent judgment in the performance of those tasks, which are routine and/or clearly defined.
