Tax Accountant

Key Responsibilities



Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (VAT, EWT, FWT, Income Tax, etc.)



Ensure compliance with BIR rules, regulations, and filing deadlines



Handle tax audits, assessments, and coordinate with BIR officers



Maintain accurate tax records, reconciliations, and supporting schedules



Monitor changes in PH tax laws and implement necessary compliance updates



Assist in year-end financial audits and provide tax-related schedules



Coordinate with internal departments regarding tax issues or requirements



Support tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position



Qualifications



Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related field



CPA license is an advantage but not required



At least 2–3 years experience in tax accounting or general accounting
