Job Description

Groundworker – Truro, Cornwall
Tarmacking – Civils

A great opportunity to start a long term operational role based around Cornwall. You will be required to work in a gang of groundworkers servicing an ongoing tarmacking contract. Initially there will be several weeks or months work in Helston, Cornwall. However, the job location may vary, working in different parts of Cornwall.
Between a gang of 4 all of your equipment and materials will be provided for the jobs. 
You will need previous experience for this role and you will need your own transport to get to site each morning.
Day to day:
To work in a team. 

Laying tarmac.

Prepping base for aggregate.

Compacting sub base. 

Compacting top base.

Operating pedestrian roller.

Operating ride on roller.

Moving materials. 

Using basic tools.

Taking instruction from supervisor...
