Systems Safety Engineer (Shubenacadie)

Reporting to the Manager of Systems Engineering, the System Safety Engineer will play a key role in strengthening and evolving GeoSpectrum’s system safety practices. The role involves ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of delivered products by applying system‑level safety principles across hardware and software domains. Responsibilities

Partner with program teams to develop, maintain, and continuously improve key system safety artifacts, including SSPP, PHA, FHA, SSHA, and SAR. Serve as the Program Safety Manager for selected programs, owning system safety execution while providing guidance to smaller initiatives and projects. Actively contribute to the product lifecycle by preparing and delivering safety‑focused presentations and participating in design reviews, test readiness reviews, technical interchange meetings, and internal and customer‑facing safety working groups.
