Systems Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Undertaking activities identified in Safety Management Plans as directed by the Project Safety Manager;
• Recording and archiving project safety requirements and ensuring they are included on the project design baseline;
• Identifying and analysing accidents, hazards and risks;
• Creating and maintaining project Hazard Logs, including appropriate traceability to the Causes, Consequences, Risk Control Measures, Assumptions, etc.;
• Collating and configuring evidence necessary to complete Safety Assessments/Cases;
• Capturing, reporting and resolving safety issues;
• Creating reports and artefacts to support safety assessments/cases, including deliverable items.
