Systems Engineering Team Lead (Toronto)

Role Summary

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Systems Engineering Team Lead provides technical support and direction in the planning, design, component selection, prototyping, testing and documentation of electrical and hydraulic and control systems for mining utility vehicles. The successful candidate will lead the design, improvement and expansion of our electrical and hydraulic architecture across the Kovatera product line as part of the R&D team. Additionally, you will become the subject‑matter expert on our existing battery‑electric line of products and work closely with vendors to deliver these products in the field. As a hands‑on leader, you will manage, coach, and provide technical direction to direct reports, including Electrical Technologists and Hydraulic Specialists.
