Your role
Your role will concentrate on systems engineering level duties, designing the automation systems and integrations for vehicle control systems and other intelligent systems. You will handle system-level design and manage interfaces across all subsystems, collaborating with technical leads for machine control, guidance and navigation, control room, and safety systems. You will also interact with our product managers to gather customer needs and determine product requirements. The target products are our heavy-duty mobile machinery working in harsh mining environments. You will report to the AutoMine® Product Development Manager.
Your background and key competencies
- Knowledge and experience of systems engineering practices, practical experience with MBSE and/or use of AI in system design is considered a plus
- Understanding of guidance, navigation and control engineering, with a strong background in at least one of these systems
