System Safety Engineer

**Description:** You will be the System Safety Engineer for the Fighter System Safety Team which is responsible for performing analyses for hazard identification, evaluation, and control using quantitative and qualitative techniques typically used in the design of aircraft weapon systems and sustainment activities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the System Safety Engineer you will be responsible for performing analyses for hazard identification, evaluation, control, and coordination in support of system safety activities for internal and external stakeholders of fighter aircraft platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
Perform Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), System Safety Analysis (SSA), Software Hazard Analysis (SWHA), and other safety analysis methodologies.
Conduct risk assessments and trade studies to evaluate and optimize design choices and recommend appropriate controls to mitigate safety hazards.
